My family has been seeing Doctors at Darmouth Hitchcock for 17+ years now. The providers are good but the office staff are unorganized and have an indifferent attitude. They used to be ok but have gotten worse lately. They never return calls and patients have to keep following up often to get them to respond. I had a recent experience where it took them 10 days to figure out a prescription refill ! I called them every single day to follow up and was given the wrong status on it (it was getting processed!) and was finally told that I needed a Dr’s visit to renew it! Came here first time to the Cancer Care Center. For my Cancer Screening. Doctor and Staff very kind and nice people here. Very knowledgeable. Really helped me out a lot. I'm Cancer Free one more year in a 5 years remission. Very grateful and very impressed with everyone here. Thank You ???

As time goes by it becomes very evident that patients need to be their own advocate but sometimes that doesn’t work either. Hence, if you’re very lucky you’ll get someone like “ my Helen” that cares enough to go the extra mile or hundred! No, I’ve never met Helen but I feel like I’ve known her forever! Her kindness, thoughtfulness, caring, professionalism and obvious love of her job is evident upon ‘ hello’!I won’t get into all the particulars but this wonderful women took pity on this old lady and got me in last minute for an endoscopy with my Dr. She called me back every time she said she would and even told me she thought about me over the weekend!I’ve...read full review
