Vicky is really great. Super kind and welcoming. Acupuncture is really not as scary as I thought it would be. It's surprisingly very relaxing.

I was having the worst jaw pain. I had dislocated my jaw, my dentist said there wasn't much we could do. I already had a mouth guard. She told me to try a bunch of things including acupuncture. I wasn't sure about it, so I tried everything else. 2 months later, I was still in some really bad pain. My jaw hurt during the day, it would ache, pound, disappear and then comeback. I thought I was good and I'd yawn or sneeze or say something and the pain would come back.
Ice, heat, pain meds, muscle relaxants, TMJ intra-oral massage, Dr's, dentists. Nothing was helping. It would have some slight relief. I decided to look up acupuncture and give it a shot. Better than an oral surgeon which was my next stop. Thank goodness I did.
Laying there for the first time, not knowing what to expect, you think all sorts of things. Is this going to work? Is it going to hurt? Is it really going to help at all? Vickie was very thorough, she went through everything with me. Told me what to expect and then once all the needles were in (painless by the way) she left me there with my own thoughts. At the time you're thinking, did I just sign up for a pincushion job? ? I'd feel a little silly if I did. Let me tell you something, I could feel some pain in my jaw at the time the needles were in, very dull, but could feel something. (Not surprising as it always hurts) Even on the opposite side though, that I wasn't really having issues with. That night and the following night, I noticed some slight jaw pain. However, the next morning, sitting on my couch, my lightbulb went off. I was pain free. WHAT? I wiggled my jaw left then right, forward then back, no pain. GONE! Shocked. I couldn't believe it. Did this really just work?
I'm a week in and I feel like a new person. Vickie is so nice, caring, and I swear you can feel the healing process emitting from her. She has healing hands. I just finished up my second appointment and I cannot wait to see how I feel in a few days. I just know that I'm going to feel brand new!
Honestly, this might sound like a cliché but she is a miracle worker! This feels like nothing short of a miracle for me. I have lived with pain on and off. I'm still amazed and beside myself how well this worked.
I know Vickie was very cautious when telling me how I'd feel or how long it would take to even feel any results, with my luck, I was thinking at least 3 or 4 visits, so I was thrilled when it felt better after my first appointment. Shocked, happy, amazed. I cannot recommend Vickie enough. Not only is she amazing but her work is speaking for itself. She is a true healer!

I cancelled the consultation, because of Vicki's tone over the phone when trying to confirm some details with me. She was very condescending!! WOW! So rude and distasteful. Treat people the way you want to be treated, please.

Vicki is an excellent acupuncturist. I have severe back issues and she has literally saved my quality of life. She is warm and down to earth, and her prices are very reasonable. She also does cupping and gua sha. I did see another acupuncturist before Vicki, which didn’t help much. I could not recommend her enough. She’s the best!

After suffering from shoulder and neck pain after surgery, I thought I would end up dealing with chronic pain for the rest of my life until I visited Vicki Irwin at the Acupuncture Center of Southern NH. After just one visit my pain levels improved and I was even able to get a good night's sleep. The next few appointments made the pain go away completely and my life is pretty much back to normal. Vicki explained everything during the whole process and made the visits very relaxing. Her staff was very knowledgeable of insurance billing and took care of everything. I highly recommend Vicki and will continue to use her for any issues.

Vicki Irwin at the ACofSNH is so very knowledgable - she was a nurse before opening her acupuncture practice. I like the way she explains things and how she treats me with such respect. I've gone to her for multiple issues and have found relief.
