Got the same grade cedar shakes as my local lumber yard at about half the price. Have to schedule a time to get them but seemed pretty flexible about when he could meet. ( I was able to meet him the day after I contacted him).

Mark deserves the stars and the business. I got the A-grade red cedar shake. His prices were 1/3 of VT pricing. Installation (especially in VT) is crazy expensive and I ended up doing this myself. The shake quality and thickness is excellent, but I decided to use a radial-arm saw to re-cut shake that I felt needed it. This may sound time consuming, but it really works out to about 15min per bundle. I saved a lot of time on installation with this approach. Other than the cuts, 99% of the shake is usable.
