Absolutely the best exotic vet around. Recommend to anyone with lizards or any reptiles they take such good care of them and can’t beat the great prices. 10/10

worst vet i'd everbeen to. some years ago (late 2018) i brought my previous ferret to him when he wasn't acting right and he said he was fine , then he died suddenly 2 months later . this time i brought my little guy to be put down since he was old and clearly ready to let go ( we'd been noticing the signs for a couple months but didn't want to do it too soon) only for them to basicly refuse to cause they 'didn't know ' what was wrong with him when they couldn't get a blood sample due to collapsed veins from dehydration and his heart rate was 60 when according to him it should've been around 200 ,.. i've known for a while it was nearing his time but they only kept him with an iv overnight and sent him home to suffer with steroids . i had to bring him elsewhere a little while ago cause my poor baby was suffering and couldn't walk/stand and wouldn't eat or drink and the other ferrets refused to go near him. they just wanted money there they didn't care about helping him , they wanted an extra 180 for xrays on top of the 145 i paid when all i wanted was to let my little boy not suffer anymore.
edit: .. in reply we had called to bring him in to be euthanised , they never said anything about testing first and just took him in back and started proding him without even explaining what they were doing. they sent him home the next day after i agreed to let them see if an IV helped when i was sure it wasn't the best choice for him , they told me he was looking better but he definately was Not looking better and in fact seemed worse when i picked him up , i didn't argue tho , i gave him his medication they said should hopefully help him , but they told me to force feed him if i had to . there was no force feeding him , he was ready to go , whimpering and suffering , they claim to try to make things for the pet but he was visibly more miserable both this morning and when i brought him home than when i'd brought him in on monday. they gave no indication that something he had was curable , all they said was give him this and we can't test him cause we can't get a proper blood sample . something that i didn't go there for cause i could tell he was ready to go. i know my baby , the light had already started leaving his eyes. i've added a photo of him that was taken in the parking lot when i brought him in , he was clearly uncomfortable and in the following 2 days even moreso with increased jittering and inablity to stand let alone walk, the walking had been slowing down for a while but over the weekend he was struggling more than normal i should never have brought my boy to these people

My dogs have always pulled me into the vet here. If they're happy, I'm happy.

First time at this vet here today, everyone was fantastic with my two hamsters. I drove a long way to come specifically to this vet based off of their care and pricing. I was not disappointed!!

The staff here is incredible! I was super lucky to find a vet with the knowledge and experience to treat bunnies. I have had to make many trips here with a bunny I rescued in rough shape, but Dr.DeSena and all of the staff have gone above and beyond to help get Hope healthy! They are awesome with Hope and the rest of my buns and I know when they are in the office they will get the best care!

I am new to the area and so happy to have found Marlborough Veterinary Clinic. Dr. DeSena is a wonderful veterinarian. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He takes the time to listen to my concerns about my dogs and thoroughly explains everything I need to know to keep them healthy. In my most recent visit I brought in a very, very nervous chihuahua whom I had adopted the previous week. Dr. DeSena and his assistant were so gentle and mindful of his anxiety. After the examination was finished, Dr. DeSena said he wanted to get to know little Eugene and he scooped him up and cradled him in his arms, talking to him and giving him a treat. That to me is a sign of a vet who really cares about his patients. Everyone on Dr. Desena’s staff is so friendly and helpful. It is such a relief to know that I have excellent veterinary care for my dogs.

Had my cat vaccinated and a big-brother chip installed. They were polite and understanding of my none conventional cat carrier, and my lack of knowledge about his vaccines. They had reasonable prices, and they called as soon as he was ready.
