“I hired Custom Electric & Communications to replace the original 1980's HVAC wire to thermostats on the 1st and 2nd floors. They replaced the old two wire lines with a newer five wire lines. Now my Thermostats can take advantage of the "C-wire" to power them. Also I am now future proofed if I want to upgrade to Smart Thermostats that need the c-wire or if I ever add cooling. One of the thermostats even illuminates all the time now which is nice. (Update: Both can illuminate blue full time now. It was just a setting in the control panel of the thermostat.)I also asked them to run a Cat-6 Ethernet cable from my basement patch panel up to the 2nd floor master bedroom. They were able to no problem. I was able to get 1G Down/Up to my ethernet connected AppleTV upstairs once they were done!Mark and Brian did a fantastic job. Given they needed to run three wires behind the walls I was assuming they'd have to open the drywall somewhere to see what they were doing. They were pros and didn't need to do that. I wouldn't even know they were here. They vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves. I would absolutely hire them again for future work. I know they do POE security cameras and that will be my next project with them once I save up a bit.“

“I had Mark's team install a fiber optic HDMI cable and home theater projector. They did a fantastic professional job both running the cables up through the ceiling and mounting the large projector. After installation, I realized the projector was mounted too high, relative to the screen, and they immediately came back to remount it on a drop-down pipe without charge.Great bunch of professionals. Highly recommended.“

After a site inspection, Tom walked me through all the options and was invaluable in helping my wife and I make the final selection. They handled everything, arrived on time, cleaned up the site, and came in on time and on budget.It has been a few years and every time I have had a question or (minor) problem, Tom has bent over backwards going far above and beyond what I expected to make sure we were happy. Just prior to this past 4th of July weekend we had a power outage and the generator did not kick in. Even though it was after 6 pm, I left a voice mail asking for a call back the next morning. Not only did Tom call me back within a few minutes - he spent enough time on the phone with me to help me troubleshoot and get the generator working.I can't say enough good things about this company. You will not be disappointed. Top notch in every regard.“

We had an emergency issue late on a Saturday night and knew no one in our area; when we put out an APB, Jerome was the most responsive of all our calls. He was able to come out the very next morning, and despite having to deal with old knob and tube wiring, fixed our issue within an hour for a very reasonable rate (and we got some interesting history lessons as well!). He's a keeper, and we will definitely be giving him some calls in the future!“
