I had an excellent experience with Nathan Hand, PA-C, and the entire team at DSH. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making me feel comfortable right away.
Nathan was thorough, attentive, and genuinely interested in addressing my concerns. He took the time to listen carefully to my needs, explain everything clearly, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. My now almost 16 yr old daughter has had severe eczema since birth. Needless to say I have brought her to many doctors and tried many treatments and prescriptions.
She’s been seeing Dr Hand for about 2.5 yrs. He introduced us to Dupixent injections. It’s truly a miracle medication and I’m not confident another doctor would have introduced us to it.
Eczema is chronic and may not sound like a big deal, but trust me, it is if you have it severely!
Also due to a scheduling mistake I made, we had our most recent appointment with Dr Merga. He’s great too!

My first experience, several years ago was not positive. The Dr was very pregnant and couldn’t focus. This visit was very pleasant. The staff engaged and were upbeat. I will not hesitate to return.

Dr. Nathan Hand and staff are very professional, knowledgeable and personable! From standard appointments to surgical procedures, I’ve never had any problems or issues. I truly appreciate being in the best of care with them!

I went to this provider many times over about a 3 year period. I was diagnosed by them with actinic keratosis which they continually attempted to treat. Eventually I switched providers, who immediately biopsied and diagnosed me with basal cell skin cancer requiring surgical removing. I’ll also note my nursing student friend was able to identify that the appearance of the skin matched basal cell and not actinic keratosis. I would not recommend this provider.

I had an excision done for a melanoma on my leg, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Dr. Mendese and the entire staff were absolutely fantastic — professional, kind, and incredibly reassuring throughout the whole process. They explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable and cared for, and followed up to ensure my healing was going well. I truly felt I was in the best hands. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for skilled and compassionate dermatology care!
