I had my first 3 babies at a hospital in Concord. My 4th I had here, via a surprise c section after a shocking diagnosis. I cannot tell you how absolutely positive the experience was for me, despite everything else. The staff was amazing. They were friendly. They didn't make me feel stupid or invalidate my pain like my last doctor's would. They respected me, my wishes, my privacy, my concerns, everything. They were also so hospitable, the kindest most giving nurses. The sweetest most caring doctors. If I ever have another kid even though I'm not planning on it, I will FIGHT to deliver here. Recently had an epileptic event that landed me in their neurology wing. I fell asleep in my own bed but woke up the next day in theirs, with doctors reassuring me and checking on me consistently. I had never had such an extreme seizure event in the history of my epilepsy, and if I had woken up anywhere else I know I would have panicked. When I was 9, my father also woke up in one of their beds and I watched for years as they took care of him, so I knew I was in the right place the moment I opened my eyes. The entire staff was top notch here. I felt at ease and knew I was in good hands. The thoracic team is wonderful.! This is an impressive medical center. The inside is very large but well organized and well staffed.
