I recently visited Dr. Dexter's Vision Center in Keene, NH, and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and Dr. Emily Tuthill was thorough and informative during my exam. The office is clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern technology. They also offer a nice selection of eyeglasses and contacts.
The main downside is that if you need to reschedule, you may have to wait another 4–6 months to get back on the schedule. For those who don’t know their availability that far out, this can be difficult. When the Cheshire hospital optical shop closed I had to find another vision shop and chose the vision center. I ordered a new pair of glasses with the advanced progressive lenses. They arrived quickly and were put in my frames in one day but after wearing them for several weeks I found my vision wasn't clear and I felt off. I called and got right in and a lot of time was spent there trying to solve this problem. I returned 1-2 more times to try and figure out the problem then Carolyn took over my case and spent even more time with me. She was intent that I would see better and went so far as to call for my record at my former optical shop and this did the trick.... read full review

I stopped in yesterday with my older, battered eyeglasses. Vision Center was very welcoming, and Carolyn did an amazing job of fixing them and adjusting them so that they fit better than ever! I highly recommend Vision Center!
