I’m very happy that my son has been attending sessions 3 times per week for almost 2 months now. He has autism and other special needs and the instructors are amazing with him, and I have seen wonderful progress with his focus, following directions and more since starting. I was a little nervous at first, but master mark is phenomenal with him and my son responds very well to him. I definitely recommend SDSS.
I highly recommend the Shaolin Studios in Keene. Mark is incredibly patient and encouraging with the young ones and never gets frustrated when the 3 and 4 year olds’ minds start to wander. My son’s favorite part of class is dodgeball with the big bouncy ball and the freeze tag with ‘the sword’!
My daughter absolutely loves her karate lessons with Master Mark!!! Master Mark not only teaches martial arts, he also teaches the kids life lessons like respect, self control and responsibility! He will often challenge the kids to take the lessons and apply them to their daily lives. So now my daughter can not only take down an attacker she also comes up with her own chore list and asks how she can help around the house!!! Her and I are both very impressed with Master Mark!
