Our furnace died on Sunday. First, Ryan braved the terrible snow storm and terrible driving conditions, not once but twice, to come to the house to diagnose and try to fix the problem — to no avail. Tom, the service manager, came to the house the next day and confirmed that it was “dead” — no pun intended. We agreed that a new furnace was needed but the problem was that we only had 3 days to order it, get it shipped and received, and then installed before we had to leave for a long-planned special trip. Brian installed and maintained our 3 split air-conditioners since 2013. He is thorough, professional, meticulous, well prepared, and reliable, not to mention thoughtful. Dead River Company is so very fortunate to have an employee like Brian who sets such high standard for his profession. He seems to take pride in what he does and the service he provides. After requesting a delivery the weekend before Christmas I was pleasantly surprised when the delivery showed up early Christmas Eve day. But, when I then got a call from the dispatcher that they could not make a full delivery because of a defective filler whistle I had to call to set up a service appointment, which I was resolved would be after Christmas. I was elated to get another call a few minutes later saying that a repairman would be out soon. That person showed up about a half hour later and fixed the problem. My full oil delivery came later in the afternoon! What could have been a very annoying situation was averted thanks to the care I received from the whole team. I am grateful for such special service.
