All employees helpful and pleasant, Dr Kalpakian discussed the risks and benefits, then removed one cataract.
Cataract and eye exam a month ago, cataract removal a few days ago, better vision as soon as I took my eye shield off. Restored some of my medium and distance visit.

The providers here are excellent! However, if you go in for a routine eye exam, make sure to check to see if your insurance was billed correctly. Mine was not (billed as an office visit) and after 3.5 months of continuous back and forth with this office, it still wasn't resolved. I had to provide the office with the correct CPT codes to use which made me think they didn't routinely bill for routine eye exams. Eventually, they stopped responding to my messages so I was stuck. Luckily, I found out that CMC has an amazing patient relations department and they were able to get it sorted out for me immediately. Every step of the way, my visit to this Opthalmology clinic was a perfect health care experience. I called in the morning with an eye emergency, a tech quickly called me back to triage, and an appointment was set for that afternoon. I was seen on time (no waiting!), and the tech was very efficient and pleasant. Dr. Jaeger arrived the minute the tech finished the initial intake, and I wish all doctors were as gifted as he is at explaining what a patient needs to know in an encouraging, calm, friendly, and respectful way.
