    In late July we decided our 45-year-old house needed more than a cosmetic face-lift, but we hadn’t a clue where to find a competent contractor who could meet our needs and budget. And then the angels arranged a chance meeting with Derek, the proprietor of Ensure Painting Plus, LLC.At our request, Derek came to work up an estimate. While assessing the extent of the project, he carefully outlined each step in the R&P process and provided an explanation of the purpose of each step.     Derek has done several interior painting projects in our home: bedrooms, bathrooms,. a hallway and most recently our unfinished basement. The basement was especially challenging since it had many years of dust, soil and water stains on walls and floor.
