The inn is great, clean, quiet , and a perfect couples getaway in a great location. I highly recommend booking hereThe Spa coordinator is not fit to be coordinating, otherwise this would be a 5 star review, there are plenty of other spas within a 20 mile radius , do yourself a favor and book your spa / massage appointments elsewhere and enjoy the drive on your way there.I booked a 2 night getaway December 24th, for January 22nd-24th. A months in advance, Couples massage and a 2 night stay . The spa coordinator was helpful upfront and responsive. She booked our massage appointment and we requested 2 female massage therapists. She replied that she was able to book one female therapist at that day in time and she would source another and be in touch... weeks went by our trip got closer , and I ended up having to reach out . She replied that we were all set with 2 female therapsits and even introduced them by there first name via email. The day of our arrival it all fell apart, she said she couldn't find another female therapist , tried selling us a male therapist. I kindly declined and said we would skip the massage and her response was " ok then "Super unprofessional customer service on spa coordinators part, all she had to do was own it and apologize instead of a smug " ok then" and this would be a 5 star review with no remark of the unprofessionalism on her part. This comes from a fellow buisness owner in the service industry!

We have been staying at the inn at thorn hill for the last 8 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The inn is cozy with a great bar and lovely sitting area with fireplace. The rooms are all beautifully appointed, charming and comfortable. But what truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff is absolutely amazing and so very accommodating to your every need. From check in with Nancy, to the restaurant staff with Linda, Montana, Dave and most especially, sherri, the inn's manager, who is just the most lovely individual and utmost professional, always taking the time out of her busy schedule to check in on your stay. A new favorite in the white mountains for us ?. Quaint, romantic with large room with outstanding views. Their bartender is amazing - try his signature drinks. We ate in the private wine cellar and next night in main dining room. The food and service was outstanding, you will not be disappointed.
