I got my first shepherd from Select Shepherd in 2008. The most beautiful, gentle, good-tempered loyal dog I've ever had. While intimidating at 120 lbs when full grown, he captured the hearts of everyone who came to know him. My favorite story is when we were taking a walk in Washington DC along the Mall, when a little girl walked up behind him, and her mother asked if it was okay if she pet him. We had no hesitation about allowing it, as he was so gentle and had been raised in a household with my 4 kids. She pulled a tuft of shedding hair from his backside, looked at it in surprise, and then tried to put it back on him. He was healthy most of his life, with no real problems....read full review

I cannot say enough about Sue-Ann. Ivan is now 11 years old. We got him when he was 9 weeks old, and where we worked closely with Sue-Ann to train him. Going to Sue-Ann was the best decision we ever made. She is super knowledgeable, and gave us the best dog we can ever get. Sue-Ann is reliable, professional, and responsive. Plus, I plan to get my next dog from Select Shepherds.
