“I have got many different services here and they have all been perfect! I cannot reccomend Ashley enough, her talent cannot be matched! She also truly cares and listens to you about your questions, inspiration and gives the best advice! I started coming many years ago just doing brow waxes and then started to get brow lamination and stains and finally got the courage to get pmu brows.. the absolute best investment I have made and I wish I did it years ago! I also recently got the new formula lash lift and they are beautiful, people even ask if they are my real lashes or extensions!

“I have had great experiences here getting mani/pedi, so I tried their hair services. Josephine was hands down, amazing! She truly listened to me and cared about the health of my scalp. I felt seen by her and she worked very efficiently and professionally. The best thing about her was the extremely relaxing scalp massage she gave. I have never experienced such relaxation in my life and I already made another appointment to get my hair treated (she did a moisturizing mask to help lessen my hair frizz) and another scalp massage! I don't know where I went, but it was otherworldly. I am convinced Josephine is a healer and I highly recommend setting an appointment with her.“

“Vanity Hair Studio came to my wedding venue at Wentworth by the Sea in June 2025 and did mine and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. They did a fantastic job and were very easy and efficient to work with. They made me, my family, and my bridesmaids look so beautiful and their prices were great compared to other NH salons. Heidi, Claire, Jaylyn, and Jessica all did amazing work and our hair and makeup stayed all night. I highly recommend this salon for wedding hair and makeup!“

“Warning: you need a reservation for this place! We tried getting dinner here at 5 PM, last Saturday (i.e. 5/27/2021) and we were turned away. However, before leaving, we easily made a reservation for the following evening at 6 PM.Best steak in Portsmouth--maybe even all of Southern New Hampshire. The Library is an historic landmark in Portsmouth, NH. It is now a restaurant but it was once a hotel for visiting dignitaries. If I'm not mistaken, Teddy Roosevelt once stayed there. Diners will be treated to an ambiance unlike no other in P-town: dark mahogany walls and shelves, a tin ceiling with individually painted tiles, and yes, books on shelves. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the staff. They weren't very...hospitable, however, give them the benefit of the doubt and try this place with your sweetheart.“
