Walmart Vision & Glasses

Okay, I see a lot of bed reviews here but you should not be expecting 5 star service or Eye Doctors to be at Walmart. The way to do this right, like I did, is to get your Eye Prescription FIRST ! Then take it to Walmart and get your lenses and frames done through them. My Eye Doctor wanted to charge me over $485.00 for simple eyeglass frames and prescription lenses. Walmart for some really nice eyeglass frames and prescription lenses, $98.00 bucks, BANG! And I love the glasses. I only use them to drive. The staff were helpful and great through the whole process. I highly recommend them but only if you do it the right way.

Thank you for all your help! Diane was wonderful and broke down the cost for the glasses for me while providing me multiple avenues to go down in order to get my new glasses. Excellent opticians like her are the reason I come back to the vision center every year!

I have been seeing Dr. Gump- the optometrist here- for 19 years. I no longer live in the immediate area, but continue to get my vision care here because of the quality she provides. However, I will warn others that the Wal-Mart staff working at the vision center are not of the same caliber, and some of these poorer performing staff have also worked there many, many years. So, Dr. Gump is 5 stars, staff 2.5 stars.
