I have to say the doctor who goes to the Walmart Vision Center is top notch. My mother went to three other eye doctors or vision places before this doctor finally told her what she needed and what was wrong and why the new prescriptions weren't working when other places were getting frustrated and were no help.
He's very thorough, compassionate, he cares about the patients, he has a great bedside manner. All the girls in the vision area are amazing as well very helpful, friendly and compassionate as well. we've had a great experience there and we've been to LensCrafters and Vision Center and Walmart helped us more than they did!
Okay, I see a lot of bed reviews here but you should not be expecting 5 star service or Eye Doctors to be at Walmart. The way to do this right, like I did, is to get your Eye Prescription FIRST ! Then take it to Walmart and get your lenses and frames done through them. My Eye Doctor wanted to charge me over $485.00 for simple eyeglass frames and prescription lenses. Walmart for some really nice eyeglass frames and prescription lenses, $98.00 bucks, BANG! And I love the glasses. I only use them to drive. The staff were helpful and great through the whole process. I highly recommend them but only if you do it the right way.
Thank you for all your help! Diane was wonderful and broke down the cost for the glasses for me while providing me multiple avenues to go down in order to get my new glasses. Excellent opticians like her are the reason I come back to the vision center every year!
