When I moved to Concord I searched for a Pilates studio that felt right for me. I tried several local studios and found them impersonal with kind of a conveyor belt mentality. Concord Pilates is different. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, supportive and ultra professional. I follow a routine they’ve tailored to my needs and goals, and I exercise without worry of injury as someone is always watching my form. And I’m not unique - this is how everyone is treated. I love it there!
I started taking Pilates classes a year ago to address my congenital back issues. I couldn't be more pleased. The studio is clean and has plenty of equipment and accoutrements. My instructor, Tanisha, created a personalized plan for me, and my back pain has subsided significantly. Tanisha is so knowledgeable about which exercises work best for each individual, given their personal issues/ infirmities. I also take Tanisha's Buff Bones class. It is a small group and I feel so supported by both Tanisha and the other participants. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone interested in Pilates.
I was suffering from a bad back (lumbar spine) and my physiotherapist recommended that I add pilates to my rehabilitation routine. Worked with Tanisha at Concord Pilates to tailor a program with input from my PT. My back is feeling 100% better after a few months of targeted exercise. I would highly recommend the studio for anyone looking to stay in shape or rehabilitate from injury.
