“I hired Kevin to build an attached two bay garage with room above for future apartment and mud room. Kevin was handed nothing more than rough layman sketches and a photo of a similar setup. He had to figure out the heights, transitions, stairs, and blend to the existing house. He always showed up on time and exceeded expectations in his delivery. He was a very good communicator throughout the project. The final product is outstanding and looks like it was always there. We get so many compliments. “Discovery of a rotted piece of framing and a poorly constructed covered deck addition led to having to undertake a large construction project over the summer. I had the pleasure of working with Tim, James and their crew to get this project done.

It was a very complex job that involved a complete demo of a deck and siding elevation while maintaining the roof system. Zak Co. went above and beyond what I thought was going to be possible, despite multiple challenges and change orders during the scope of work. They worked very flexibly around my schedule, as well as helping with a Pella-induced mishap (all the doors and windows were delivered as a wrong size.) They also helped with my intentions of oversizing the framing to make a deck that would last longer than I would.

The pricing was very fair and for the quality of work we received and the attention to detail, I am extremely satisfied. I cannot recommend working with these folks for your next construction project enough.“
