“We can't give a review on the Generac itself because we just had it installed 5 days ago but I can't say enough about the service we received from JN Electric. The owner, Joe, was onsite to make sure everything was done correctly and there were no short cuts taken. What I didn't realize is that they would have to dig a trench to connect the Generac to my gas line but would have to leave the trench open until after all the inspectors came (electrical and fire). Not knowing this, we scheduled the trench fill in for 4 days out (this was installed during the Thanksgiving week and there is a specific way to fill the trench due to the gas pipe).To my surprise, the Fire Dept. and Electrical Inspector came out within a couple of hours. I called Mike (the person who sold me the unit), and left him a voicemail letting him know the inspectors had been out and approved everything but I was concerned about my dogs filling/falling in the trench since it was installed in our fenced in back yard, that we put in specifically for our dogs.Mike called back but we were at the park with our dogs and I didn't have my phone. Within 5 minutes of arriving home, Mike and Brian (the gas pressure tester/gas pipe connector/last person after the inspectors give two thumbs up to move forward) showed up and completed the job.Joe, Mike and Brian went the extra mile to complete the job after hours knowing we were concerned about our dogs falling/filling in the trench. They didn't have to do that, we agreed to another few days out, but they did and we appreciate them more then they could ever imagine because our dogs are our children.If you are going to make an investment like this, go to a local dealer like JN Electric and not a Superstore. The service you will receive is second to none and I am sure, as long as we live in this house, we will get the maintenance and support we need.P.S. We got a 10 year warranty, which is connected to the unit, not the person who bought it so, if we decided to sell within the 10 years, the new owners can utilize the warranty as if they were the ones who bought the unit.“
