Place is awesome but they’re closed on weekends which really sucks!!! have been buying a bunch of lumber there recently but now won’t be able to Because I can’t get there in time before they close during the week and like most people have weekends off. They must lose so much money because of that. But other than that, the store is amazing. The employees are great just that they’re only open during the week.

Highland Hardwoods is not my vendor of choice for both normal and semi-exotic hardwoods. They have many species, in many forms, and will help you get what you need. Most hardwood is rough, although some is sanded on 3 sides. You will want a planer, but you probably already do. The wood is well dried. Prices seem reasonable. They also have several plywood choices, even with the world-wide plywood shortage. For me, it is a three to four hour round trip, and I make it anyway.
