Hiring a reputable company like Pella for window installation at my home turned out to be a regrettable decision. Here's why: 1-Language Barrier with Crews: Communication was a major issue as there was a significant language barrier with the installation crews. This led to misunderstandings and confusion throughout the project. 2-Every Window Had an Issue: Not a single window escaped without a problem. From poor fitting to visible scratches and even damaged frames, it seemed every unit had a flaw. Window came damaged and they installed anyway. 3-Excessive Nail Holes: The installation was sloppy, resulting in many unnecessary nail holes around the frames. These holes were left exposed, creating an unsightly appearance. 4-Rough Cuts on Finished Trim Inside: The craftsmanship on the finished trim inside was abysmal. The cuts were rough and uneven, making the interior look shoddy and unfinished. 5-Nails Showing: Instead of concealing nails properly, they were left visibly protruding from the trim. This lack of attention to detail is unacceptable for a professional installation. 6-Windows Damaged: Some windows were actually damaged during installation, with noticeable dents and scratches on the frames and glass. This careless handling reflects a lack of care. 7-Exterior Trim Not Caulked: The exterior trim was installed without proper caulking, leaving gaps that could potentially lead to water damage and reduced insulation efficiency. 8-Poor Cuts Overall: Whether it was the trim inside or the exterior pieces, the cuts were poorly executed. They were uneven and did not meet the basic standards of precision. Overall, this experience did not reflect what was promised or expected from a reputed company like Pella. I hired them with the belief that their expertise would ensure excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the reality was quite the opposite. This installation not only fell short of expectations but also left me with a significant amount of dissatisfaction and the need for additional repairs. I would caution others to thoroughly assess their options before choosing Pella for their window installation needs based on my disappointing encounter. This has been a challenge to get them out to resolve the issues.

From my initial contact with Alex and right on through my installation as a homeowner, he was very knowledgeable, extremely patient and helpful. I plan further remodeling in the spring and will certainly be returning to Pella because of Alex!

Pella replaced 16 windows. Max and his crew produced high quality work and a quick installation. They originally told me 3 days and his team finished in 2 days. They are all polite and hard working. Our house was cleaner after they left. The quality of Pella products is far superior than the Rivco windows we had replaced. We will be going back to Pella for the two sliders I need replaced in the future. The communication was far better than a previous experience we had with Lowe's. Looking forward to working with them again.Services: General window replacement

We ordered a door in Dec. 2020. The final installation wasn't complete until Sept. 2022. I understand there was a delay due to Covid but this was not a Covid issue. Joseph Maio our sales rep. was the most unprofessional, unresponsive person I have ever dealt with. Mr. Maio, a Pella employee did not do his job well at all. I was then contacted by a M. Medina who never apologized for the delay. She had us home for appts. on the wrong day. Really just didnt seem like she was there to help. At that point it really just felt like Pella wanted to get our invoice balance and be done with us. Pella made it seem like we were the cause of the delay and just a poor overall experience. We were informed by tech that Joe Maio disappeared and left all of his accounts a mess. This is why it took 2+yrs to finally get a door and close our account. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I have had in my life.Service: General door installation

Since my earlier post I've visited the showroom and spoke with Stephanie Trippett the Brand Ambassador and was more than pleased with her direction and input as to how to handle my custom windows. The team you have working for Pella is exceptional. Thank you again. We used Pella to build 35 years ago and were pleased. So I recently had a visit/quote with Norman Poirier for replacement windows. Probably the best interaction with a window representative I've had to date. Informative, personable and with good input for my situation and insight into the Pella line Thank youService: Window installation
