Formerly Amherst Karate Studio, Determined Martial Arts was founded in 1991 with the mission to encourage, challenge, and inspire our students to be strong & confident through high-quality martial arts training. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome while fostering discipline, respect, and perseverance. We meet every student where they are to help them grow—whether that means developing coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength, improving focus and self-control, or working around injuries. We don't celebrate mediocrity. In other words, we don't hand out participation trophies. Martial arts is about dedication, resilience, and personal growth.
