Brought my shih tzu puppy for her second set of shots. They were very kind, helpful and explained everything, giving me options and letting me weigh in on my pups care. Definitely will recommend them in the future. Great experience.

I called Alton Vet when my dogs got quilled from a porcupine in the woods and they were able to get us right in, get the quills out quickly and safely, and were so kind. If I lived closer I would make them our regular vet in a heartbeat!

We are monumentally grateful to Dr. Scire and the staff for the outstanding care our two 13-year-old Boston terriers receive. Fenway has Addison's disease and Simon has Cushing's. Neither would be alive now were it not for the excellent care they receive at Alton Veterinary Clinic. Simon also developed severe vestibular disease, possibly from a stroke. I brought him in to be put to sleep, but Dr. Scire said that if I could care for him for a few weeks, he might recover. By all appearances, that seemed impossible; but just like she said, after two weeks, he was almost back to normal. It is now nearly 2 years later, and he is just a little ball of energy!
