Dr. Orv Gigstad, Bonnie and Dr. Hennessy take wonderful care of the animals they see. I had, what I considered, a delicate situation with my pup and they were able to get me in right away. I called with concerns, after my initial visit, and they found time get me in the same day I called to ease my mind. Highly recommended!

Doc Gigstad reminds me of James Herriot. He is a practical, no-nonsense large small animal vet that loves animals. I've known him for over 30 years, and everyone that I've talked to that knows, him loves him.
Don't let the trailer fool you. It's what's inside that counts. From puppies to calves Doc he does it all with YEARS of experience. Reasonably priced...because yes, low overhead. There is not a time I've gone in there when there isn't people waiting. We all love Doc.

Today my dog took a painful turn in a very short amount of time. Clearly in pain and unable to hold her bladder I started calling all over to get her an emergency appointment or to at least get some medication for what was clear to be a uti. No where would help us or would get us in until Monday and I knew she couldn’t wait that long. Thank god for Arbor Valley Syracuse ! The wonderful women who answered my call said “yes, bring her in now I have medication you can start her on” We were able to test my dogs urine and get her antibiotics within minutes of arriving even though the clinic had a full schedule for the day and it didn’t cost anywhere near what I was... read full review
