“I am not sure why there are negative reviews, because when I went in I was a walk in and it was only me and the nice lady that worked there. There was a little bit of a language barrier, so basically all I did was show a picture for reference and she went right to work cutting and straightening my hair. The picture was an alternative hairstyle with a lot of layers, and I’m always worried going to new places because the stylists never quite achieve the amount and type of layers I’m looking for. Plus, pretty much ALL of the other salon’s portfolios in Siouxland were one length, blonde, Utah curls and that is definitely not my style. Here this was not the case. Even with the language barrier she did an excellent job and she was very nice. She was very gentle with my hair and detail-oriented, and I could tell she was very knowledgeable. Now I am trying to learn more Spanish so I can have a conversation when I go back ? but yes, I definitely recommend here, and especially if you’re going for any emo/goth/scene/alternative look. Plus, I was charged 30 for the cut and style, but I gave 40 because she did an excellent job. It is cash only.“
