This Hospital has been a life saver for me. All of the staff have been very compassionate and caring. I would not be alive today if it was not for them. I also attend the cancer support group meetings. I am very happy that I am able to live so close to this hospital.

I delivered my baby here on 01.08.25... absolute worst service i have ever gotten in my life.. where do I begin? they told me I couldn't take my antidepressants that I brought and they had to give me one their doctors prescribe.. fine.. I was there for 3 days... got it once. after delivery, was supposed to check my vitals every 4 hours... only saw my nurse once overnight. when they did my baby's blood sugar, they left trash in his crib... every single time. they never offered us a menu to order food up so my husband spent hundreds of dollars on takeout because we live an hour away and had no time for anything else. we didn't even know we could order the hospitals food until the day we left.. absolutely unacceptable. My midwife Mary and nurse Robin who delivered my baby were amazing but everyone else... wow. I'm a 21 year old first time mom and honestly.. I'll never even bother with any of Regional West's services again. what a joke.

Ended up in the Kimball ER with a gallbladder attack, they determined they needed to take it out so they transferred me up here for surgery same day. The nurses in the out patient surgery center were very nice, the recovery nurse I had was the sweetest! I am so thankful they were able to get me in and out same day!

I don't understand why people are having to wait over anything more than 2 hours to be seen in the EMERGENCY room! My sister couldn't walk from the pain she was having and told them the pain was at a 9 and still she waited over FOUR HOURS. If it wasn't a MEDICAL EMERGENCY, she would've waited to make an appointment to be seen at a different time. But seeing as how IT IS an emergency, the fact she waited so long is ridiculous and unprofessional!!! Not to mention that FOUR other people were sent back before her, one of which was taken back because he's "been waiting too long", even though she's been waiting longer. This other patient was even heard saying that he wasn't showing any symptoms or feeling that sick, so to take him back before her is wild, just because he was impatient. I have also had my fair share of horror stories with this poor excuse of a hospital and honestly, I'd rather die at home, miserable and in pain, than come here for "care". Maybe if the owner cared more about helping people and paying his healthcare workers a DECENT wage, instead of lining his pockets by not having the necessary staff and also lying to patients and ordering unnecessary, expensive tests they "need", then the community would be more comfortable coming here. I'm sure the owner also takes advantage of the fact that this is the only hospital in town. This place is a joke and it's no wonder they have so many lawsuits against them! Let's not even start on the staff he does have here cuz that's a whole different story! I recommend trying one of the other hospitals around the area. You have a better chance of driving an hour out to be seen somewhere else before you die than you do here!

This is for the travel nurses. You are ABSOLUTLEY risking your license by taking a contract here. I wasn't going to leave a review - especially months later- but after getting some bogus advertising for travelers to come here, I think a warning to other traveler's is warranted.

The director of my department withheld my hours in attempt to withold my pay when I left. The staff was 99% travelers. Several travelers had left their contract early before I got there and shortly after I got there. Working conditions were the worst I have ever seen in a hospital. Patient safety was the last consideration every time. You are expected to work the most unreasonable hours in have ever seen. There is so much more I could say, but I'll leave it at that.

0/10. Worst hospital I've ever stepped into. I don't care if they're paying 3500 a week. I'd NEVER risk my license like that again.

Thank you Regional West for the great care you provided to my father on recent hospital admissions. He had a stroke on October 29th and the team in the ED was phenomenal. Dr. Salisbury was in right away and went straight to work on treating my father. At one point, I witnessed Dr. Salisbury standing at the nurses station on the landline with one doctor while he was also on his cell phone phone with a doctor from another specialty. Everyone that night worked quickly to get him taken care of and ready for his flight to Swedish.

Unfortunately, within days of returning to Scottsbluff in early December, we were back for two more ED visits followed by inpatient admissions. I've received condolences on his passing from many of the ED nurses. I'm sure I will miss some but thank you to Hannah, Jess, Holly, Lauren, Hunter, Brittany and Beth. On one of those visits, Dr. Salisbury saw us in the hall and stopped to ask about my dad even though he was not assigned to care for him that night. We appreciated the genuine interest by Dr. Salisbury regarding my father's health.

Thanks to the Regional West EMS crews that transported my dad multiple times from home to the hospital, from the Residency to the hospital, and finally from the hospital to home so we could care for him at home during his last week.

Tracy Meyer is amazing. Though she did not provide direct care to him on any of those visits, she took the time to stop, ask how he was doing and give hugs of support.

We were so appreciative of the care the nurses in PCU provided to him on his last admission. In what was a stressful time for us, they did great at answering questions and making sure my father and family had everything needed. Huge thanks to Temple, Linda, Heather, Billy, Zach, Katie, Cassadie, Melissa and Lori.

During his previous admission to 2W, my father required a sitter from time to time due to his condition. Mary Ann was so friendly and just spent time visiting with my mom while she was there. CNA Alex was also a shining star during that visit. He treated my father with respect and dignity. He talked to my father like they were friends. When no one other than my mom had been able to get my dad to take anything by mouth for days, Alex succeeded.

Dr. Amini provided care to my father for the entirety of his last hospital stay. He was thorough with his assessments of the symptoms and changes we were seeing. If we asked questions the nurse didn't know the answer to, they'd message him and he'd come down. He showed us pictures of the CTs and MRIs so we could make informed decisions. Again, in what was an extremely difficult time for our family he provided great care to my dad and showed genuine empathy for what our family was experiencing. We couldn't have asked for a better physician.

Of course, I wish that my father's health had been such that we didn't need the teams at Regional West but I'm so thankful that they were there when we needed them and would trust them to provide this same great care if I needed it! Thank you Regional West!

I had an amazing experience here. I was from out of state, but felt at ease being taken care of here. The billing department is wonderful and I can't thank Rita enough. Also to the man that always directed me at the front desk, you are so kind. Thank you all so much.

Was having bad anxiety/suicidal thoughts. Went to the ER. Checking myself in. Once they found out I was homeless dude states this isn't a hotel. 5 hours later comes back and says the "Team" says you can be admitted. Got up there and they treated me as they did in the ER. Already anxious put five other nurses in a cramped room to do my vitals. Of course i freak out and had to beg to be given any type of professionalism. Came time to actually talk to the psyc doctor just to round the corrner to the same five people in the small and cramped room. "Oh they're just training." is the excuse given. Had to ask the psyc Doctor if it were necessary all these people needed to be in the room. She was floored and, thankfully, prompted them to leave. How many others have they done this to? I came to you for genuine help, and this is how I was treated. Shame on you! Shame! I DO STRESS IF YOU ARE SUICIDAL GET SOMEWHERE ASAP!!! EVEN IF IT IS THIS DISPICABLE PLACE.. Definitely do not let them know you are homeless. They will discriminate. I just wish I would have brought my phone with me so these people could be held accountable. Get it together RWMC!!!
