I’ve been going to McKnight off and on through the years since I was a kid. Everything he’s ever worked on has lasted well past his expectations since I grind my teeth. I drive 12 hours from Wyoming to have him do my dental work. I know he’s not everyone’s favorite, but he’s the only dentist I feel comfortable working on my teeth. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me over the years!

I am not a huge fan of the dentist but Dr. Doug and his dental assistant Rachel took amazing care of me and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Dr Doug took his time and explained everything I was experiencing. Definitely a 10/10 experience and I would recommend to anyone in the area. Dr Doug made me feel very comfortable in the office!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough!!! This was my first time there and I was expecting the usual routine of being pressured into procedures that I don’t need, but it was just the opposite!!! It’s so hard to find a dentist who is actually honest and doesn’t simply want to sign you up for any surgery your insurance will cover. I know three procedures that dentists always try to push on me, and I know why I don’t actually need them, so anytime they’re mentioned it’s a red flag for me. But here… the gentleman actually mentioned one of them AND THEN EXPLAINED TO ME EXACTLY WHY I DIDN’T NEED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Biggest green flag EVER. So I actually asked about the other two “problems,” and he did the same thing, telling me exactly what I already knew to be true and why there was no real problem.
If you’re like me and your fear of going to the dentist is them trying to scare you into unnecessary procedures, this is the place to go! Knowing that he is honest about what I DON’T need, I can actually trust him on what I DO need.

Have been going here since I was 9 years old. (I’m in my late 20s now) and make the hour drive from Lincoln because they have always treated me good and made me feel comfortable. Have had Jim and Doug both do work in my mouth and they’re definitely professional. Would recommend to anyone ??

Don't be low income with a lot of teeth problems and go to see Dr. Jim there, and one other receptionist/dental assistant. They'll turn their nose up at you. I had gone there for so many years and my teeth have had lots of problems. He wouldn't do much but fill or pull them. Which he was just had a cold attitude and was very rough and uncaring whether he hurt me or not. As for anything else he sends ya elsewhere... okay I get it, my insurance only covers so much at a time and he doesn't do surgical. But he couldve tried a dental plan with goals, with him, like cleanings and preventative care, instead he decided to look for a way out though the likes of my insurance(medicaid), Instead of treating me like a human being, they just turn their nose up at me like i was poor trash and treated me like I was seeking meds. Which many times I never asked. They made me feel like I just exploited welfare.Believe me, if I had a choice at the time, I wouldn't have had medicaid. They acted sick and tired of seeing me. So they "stopped taking medicaid" . Eventually, I finally got on some better insurance, and they said they take it, but once they got my name they stuck me on hold and said my insurance wont work cuz I'm not in their network. I may be broke but i'm not stupid. I instantly starting crying and feeling so embarrassed and ashamed. Why would they make me feel this way? Shame on you McKnight Dental! I wouldn't give any stars but it won't let me. ZERO STARS! I regret wasting my there for so long. I'd probably still have half my teeth if I would've just gone somewhere els but I felt that was the only place I could go to in town
