I am a relatively young patient with symptomatic BPH that has been progressively interfering with my sleep and overall quality of life for several years. Dr. Davies and PA Emma took the time to listen to me, assess my condition, and carefully evaluate options. I ultimately opted for aquablation and it has changed my life.
For the first time in years, I have slept for at least 6 hours without waking up every 2 hours to urinate. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
I was there for about 2.5 hrs of testing. My nurse that I had from start to finish was Kylie. She was Awesome, she explained everything that she was going to do step by step.
Dr. Dwyer was also Awesome, she very caring, gentle and had compassion. She answered all my question (I thought of more after I left).
She also told me what to expect after my procedure.
I'm very glad that I gave UC a call as opposed to using the hospital I've gone to in the past. I was going to have to wait at least two weeks to get into their urologist's office when it was already determined that I had a substantial sized stones (1 cm and 5 mm) that was resulting in so much pain I was missing work. A bilateral same-session ureteroscopy was needed. Had I not had breakfast I could have had the procedure that day. That's service! Everyone was wonderful. Alas, I hope I never have to go there again! (except for my follow-up visit in a couple of weeks)
