“There's something to be said about a small, humble hometown business. We recently did a large DYI landscaping job at our house encompassing the perimeter around half of foundation. Robert's Nursery employees took lots of time walking us around the nursery giving us suggestions and advice.

To top it off, when they dropped off the mulch they gave more advice after seeing the job in person. They were so helpful; we weren't just another number to them. I'd strongly advise anyone needing landscape work done or doing a DYI job to use Robert's. They were fantastic. There's something to be said about a small, hometown business.“

They cleared out the old lava rock, built a small retaining wall next to our patio, leveled the ground, added professional grade landscape fabric and edger stones, and spread beautiful lava rock. We have a really large yard and when I need help figuring things out, I know I can rely on them to help me. One of the fertilizer techs even complimented us last year on having the best lawn he's seen. Made me feel good, especially with their fertilizer program, me popping out the dandelions when they do show their pretty little heads and of course a lot of credit to the rain we received. ;-)“

“Only have Heartland for the 6 step applications of fertilizer and weed control and aeration. But all techs, not just Darien, are friendly and willing to answer any questions. But Darien is great. If we need to call for any reason, they actually have a live person answer the phone. If they do not have the answer to any questions, they find someone who does either right away or with a timely call back.“
