Dr. Goetsch is always very personable and professional.
I’m just wondering about the check in and check out procedures. When I checked in I was told my VSP balance available was $310. Upon checkout, I had inquired about sunglass frames on the 50% Off Sale. I tried on a couple, and decided they were too pricey for me.
Then the young lady assisting me with the frames told me she could check me out. So she did, I asked for and received a copy of my bill and my script. No where on my bill does it say anything about VSP.
The front counter staff members were too busy chatting amongst themselves for me to interrupt them and ask any questions.
I have always enjoyed my visits to Authier, Miller - Pape. Everything used to very professional. I have noticed since Unity Eye took over that is NOT the case. The lack of professionalism coupled with the too casual disheveled attire and appearance of some of the frontline staff is inappropriate in my opinion.
In closing, in light of the fees charged, I have to wonder if things shouldn’t be better? It appears to me that it’s NOT the way it should be at all.
My next appointment is to be in six months. If I do come back, the only reason would be because if the outstanding service and attention I received from Dr. Goetsch and her chair side assistant.“
