What a stunning course. 18 holes of pure beauty. What's nice is there are so many tee options, that any skill level can play. Sort of.
It took us 4 hours to play 18 holes. We never had to wait for golfers in front of us, or had people pushing us. Bonus!
We had a stay and play deal so it was $160 for 2 people to play 18 holes which included a cart. The pro shop had all sorts of merchandise. Plus there is a little restaurant attached, too.
Traditional golf wear is required. Meaning sleeves, golf shoes, slacks, or shorts.
I loved that there was a dog helping maintain the course! He rode on the seat of the work cart like a true professional.
My pals and I just did a stay and play at Tatanka and the Ohiya Hotel and Casino. I had heard mixed reviews about the golf course, but was excited to finally get up there to play it. I have been playing golf since 1959 and much of it competitive. I have played some of the best courses in America including Bandon Dunes, Cypress Point, Monterey Peninsula, The Sand Hills, Prairie Dunes, CapRock, Concession, Whisper Rock and the masterpiece at Pine Valley. Great course design that melts into the surrounding landscape and feels as of it's always been there. Challenging at any distance and great fun. Course was in great shape considering how dry the season has been. Staff was awesome and felt like country club service at hometown prices and mindset. Would recommend to anyone who wants to make the trek to get there. It's beautiful landcapes and big sky.
