Awesome experience having Jim Hunt on our Big Deck project. As a professional structure engineer, I collaborated with Mr. Hunt on all the detailing to make our deck the best that it could ever be! After thorough consideration we ended up basically utilizing all PWT engineered product for the structure and, used TREX for deck planks & fascia, & then we used the rough-sawn cedar posts. It was put together well, looks great, and will last for many decades as our deck will still be performing well & looking great well into the future. Excellent crew, too -- 10 out of 10: Would recommend.
James and the crew were excellent to work with, skilled craftsman and customer focused! James guided us through the process and provided a great plan and design to rebuild our deck. We went with a Trex composite deck which we love! James was very reasonably priced and the quality is great!!!
Absolutely recommend these guys. Fairly priced, friendly, funny, accommodating, quick to respond. Scheduling worked out so that we went from bid to built in a week. The work product is EXCELLENT! We needed a nonstandard size in kind of a weird area, with some custom design elements, like decking to the ground vs skirting. They never pushed back on anything I wanted, just made sure they understood what I was after and suggested the best ways to do it without going crazy in cost or time. Absolutely went above and beyond while they were here, even helped us bring in a really heavy package.
