The Right Place For Finding The Right Pros Near You!
They treat Jane like their own. They're very Loving and caring. If there's a Procedure that needs to be done. Thank you for caring
My vet, who I love, did not recommend the brace but gave me a quote of 5-7 thousand for surgery but with the high probability of it needing to be done on the other leg within a year. Even though the cost of the brace is high, I went ahead with the brace and boy am I glad I did. I had some initial fit issues but they were all my fault and the the people at Hero brace were patient and VERY helpful. They responded quickly and always professionally. IF YOU FOLLOW the instructions and READ THE descriptions of the products you will find that many of the the negative reviews are from people who did not do that. Also, I do not leave my dog unattended for long periods, let along while wearing the brace. YOU MUST follow the instructions and follow through with the rehabilitation. I worked with him and he learned quickly to allow the brace to be put on, leave the brace alone and to do the exercises. Within a few weeks I noticed improvement. At about 2 Months he was at 60% of normal and now, other than being stiff sometimes from over use, he is back to normal. Mind you he is a 95 pound Shepard American Staff mix so he is large and built heavy. He is about to turn 10yrs old and now has the zoomies and is back to walking 2 miles every morning with no limping. He is almost off all meds and is a happy active dog. Every dog is unique but I would say that most of the fails are on the owners, not the brace. Just like with people, if you do not put in the work to heal, a brace on a human will also not be a miracle cure! You can see in the photos that before he could put little to no weight on his back leg and after 5 months he is fully using the leg, with full weight and his foot is flat on the ground. THANK YOU HERO BRACES!
