My daughter recently had appendicitis. We were seen promptly in the ER, which was a quick and efficient visit. The surgeon Dr. Anderson and CRNA Ryan did great! I appreciated that they spoke to her and explained what was happening, even though she is a young teen, and not just me, her nurse mom. She was quite nervous and having them reassure her was amazing. Our nurse once we got to the floor was also very attentive as well. All in all I am thankful for the prompt care in the setting of a nerve wracking situation.
Left a review on here years ago and then have avoided here. Having said that, my belief now is that it must have just been a bad day. My Nurse today (Kelly) has been amazing, attentative and informative and I'm covered in warm blankets. Charge Nurse just as attentive. Radiology was wonderful as well. Thank you CHI ER. And EMS was top notch getting me here.
Was in the ER 1-6-24, in the afternoon for a non critical issue, Reffered by the VA Cboc,Everyone of the staff in the ER was super nice! I have not encountered that level of positive social interaction for many years. Thank you for your services, every bit as important as was my military service.Terry A
