The Rugby Veterinary service is the best veterinary service we have ever experienced! We unfortunately did not take our precious Golden Retriever there for regular care because we found out about them after our 17 year old Golden was already having health issues. However, our daughter takes her animals there and has nothing but EXCELLENT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE CARE THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE PROVIDE! It was after our Golden had her last and final stroke that we knew it was time that she had to be put down, that we brought her to the Rugby Vet! There are absolutely no words to describe the love and care each and every person in this amazing clinic showed us, when we made the decision to bring our Mya girl to them to be put to rest. They all cared about her and our family just like we have been bringing Mya to them for her entire 17 years she was a part of our family. It was the hardest decision we have ever had to make with our family pets but the best decision was that we brought her to this AMAZING CLINIC! They treated Mya and our family with the utmost respect, kindness, and empathy that we have ever experienced any where else in all of Mya’s long, beautiful, memorable life. They made one of our hardest and heartfelt decisions a little less difficult because of the way we were all treated and genuinely cared for! To each of you, THANK YOU and may GOD ALWAYS BLESS YOU in the way you BLESSED US and OUR PRECIOUS GOLDEN RETRIEVER, MYA! My personal vet in Minot could not see my cat when she started showing that she was sick. I called 5 vet offices and even though I wasn't a client, Rugby got my cat in 3 hours after I called. Once we got there, we were taken to an exam room almost immediately! They took blood and it showed that her kidney values were high! Dr Gullickson recommended that we run more tests to get a better understanding of what was going on with my girl. After those tests, she recommended that I take her to Fargo for 24 hour support if I wanted a good outcome for my cat. I took my girl home Wednesday to see if I could get her to eat before I made the choice to take her to Fargo(based on her levels, I was taking her no matter what). The next morning I did just that as she still was not eating. They sent all of her tests and results to Fargo so they would have them when we got there. I got a message from Dr. Gullickson this morning asking how my girl was and if she was admitted in Fargo, and she was. I truly believe that if I hadn't gone to Rugby, my girl would not be on the road to recovery(however that may turn out)and possibly coming home tomorrow! I owe so much to this vet clinic and I am beyond grateful that they got her in! The fact that Dr. Gullickson reached out to check on my girl speaks volumes about her and her love for her patients, even though we weren't the day before.
