Friendly, respectful and gentle. The doctors are very informative and caring while carrying out the delicate process of euthanasia. Thank you to the Grand Valley staff for helping us in our time of need. Your jobs are tough and you are appreciated.

So grateful to Dr. Darin for getting my cat in quickly when he was sneezing and having trouble breathing. Turns out to be a viral infection, but they really made us feel better about what he was going through. They did give us antibiotics just in case it got worse, and kitty is doing much better now! Thank you!

A great place to take your pets. I have been taking my pet's here for over 15 years now. Not once have I had an issue. Darrin the owner is always great to work with along with his staff.

We've gone here for over 6 years with our 3 babies (2 cats, one dog) until we had to move out of the area and highly recommend Dr. Dorsey and Dr. Olson. The techs and front desk staff (Kylie, Maddy, Bri, and others apologies I don't remember everyone's names!!) have all been just above and beyond fabulous as well. The first part of this review is for those named above. Our dog, Skillet, had a rough start to life causing some fear reactivity in adulthood and every staff member who cared for her treated her with so much love, compassion, positivity, patience, and respect and truly built so much confidence in her. What i would hope to see for my soul dog is exactly what i saw from these individuals. They ALWAYS made it a safe environment for her and I fully trusted them with all of our babies. Additionally, I'm a yapper with lots of questions and anxiety and when I would ask lots of questions I never felt rushed or judged and things were always explained very thoroughly to us. Leaving this clinic was emotional for us because there was just so much trust and genuine care for our girl and our cats with the people who regularly cared for her as we had the best experience over the 6+ years we went there and i only hope i can find another team like them. 5 stars is absolutely deserved to them, no question.

The reason I did not give 5 stars is due to the owner of the clinic Dr. Darin. To make a long story short, Skillet was misdiagnosed (which I understand happens) with DCM and during the call where Dr. Darin was explaining the new diagnosis there was no information given about what to do, no info given on what that really meant for prognosis, I asked for a referral to a specialist and he stumbled around mumbling about wait times and why he wouldn't do a referral, he told me his notes would be done early the following week due to the 4th of July holiday (they weren't done until I called again at the end of the following week), I was getting slightly emotional (as she also had a torn ACL and needed xrays but because of this DCM diagnosis we could not move forward on treating the ACL, there was a lot going on for us) on the call and the bedside manners were not there he repeatedly told me the sky was not falling, and truly gave no hope to what the future looked like. Dr. Darin if you read this please know your staff is incredible and you should be grateful. I don't know if you have too much on your plate but they should be role models to you on how to care for your clients and their families. And if you are not confident in your ability to diagnosis something in a speciality field like cardiology, as a client I would rather you say you're not confident and refer us out to a specialist rather than giving a diagnosis and causing so much unnecessary stress. I will say I'm grateful for the lack of care you gave us as it forced me to reach out to other resources who were able to help us not only care for her with this diagnosis (like monitoring her respiratory rate and staying cool and not over exerting, things you should tell DCM diagnosed owners), but get her in for a second opinion with a specialist which led to the discovery of her NOT having DCM and having a very mild condition that does allow her to move forward with ACL treatment and live a normal life. Had the experience with Dr. Darin gone better we may have bene living with a scary diagnosis that was inaccurate and a quality of life that was lesser so in a way, thank you for your lack of everything in that call.

So yes I absolutely recommend this clinic for the reasons stated above however when it comes to speciality care please get second opinions from specialists.

This place is ok. But when they bring your pet back to do a test or other services and you are waiting in the room. You can hear everything they are saying. I know you have your opinion on breeds of dogs but keep the comments a little quieter so the owner doesn't hear. Very unprofessional and pricing is high and when they can't even give a price on procedures. Just well it starts at $450 and goes up. Went to a different vet and gave me the price of the procedure over the phone when making the appointment.

We brought in our dog for routine shots. The Doctor stated that she could see a small ear infection so she prescribed her drops for both ears. The medication is called easotic hydrocortisone acetonate. We followed the directions as stated by the doctor. Now our dog is completely DEAF!!!. We called right away after we started noticing a change. The staff was not helpful at all and still required us to pay them for the second visit. They didn’t have any solution for us. It is unbelievable that they prescribed us a medication that we had no clue could cause complete hearing loss and charged us for bringing her back in to see what was happening. I want to bring caution to current and future customers. They clearly care more about their bottom dollar than the emotions of a family.
