The Village Family Service Center enhances lives through behavioral health services. It offers mental health counseling, youth mentoring, addiction treatment, and employee assistance programs. The team is patient-focused and amazing, feeling more like a family. Their staff is awesome and supportive. Clients in programs, like for license reinstatement, should ensure completion forms are finalized. It is a wonderful place for healing and support.
Having been though a few different programs in the area as well as out of town, my experience at the Village was the best and most comprehensive treatment thus far. Thanks to Jake and Amanda and the rest of the office staff for making the group experience welcoming for everyone, myself included.
My experience using the EAP program with the Village Family Service Center was wonderful. This was my first therapy experience (after years of telling myself I needed to start) and it was very easy to get set up and started. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly accommodating and kind. I cannot recommend my therapist, Jacob, enough. He was the perfect combination of validating and respectfully assertive. He sorted through my thoughts so well (no matter how jumbled) and always made notice of the effort I was putting in outside of sessions. I just want to let people know if they are in the chemical dependency program as a requirement for drivers license reinstatement to make sure that they complete the form for the state showing you completed the program before you leave on your last day.
