In summer of 2021, Sabertooth Electric was the only option we had in rural North Dakota to install our Generac Whole House Generator. Guess what? We chose them. The installation was without issue and the unit hummed along without issue. Every week, it did a self-test and we got a text message via it's web-based monitoring system. Steve and crew did routine maintenance making the 400 mile round trip to Page. The ice storm of 2023 hit on Christmas Eve, power poles snapped like matchsticks, our service was out for almost 7 days. Thanks to Sabertooth Electric's attention to detail during the installation and service afterward, our generator operated flawlessly the whole time. Steve texted us about its operation, reminded us about checking the oil and arranged to make a service call in the days following. In a dire situation where we could have lost everything, we lost nothing. Our generator investment paid off thanks to Steve, Brandon and the rest of the Sabertooth crew.

Sabertooth Electric was the only qualified service provider to install our Generac Generator in the summer of 2021 (pictures). Since then, it just sat in the yard and hummed along. Every Tuesday, it would power up and power down and we'd get a text message saying "successful test". They'd come once a year to service. On Christmas Eve, 2023, as the power poles snapped like giant toothpicks, Sabertooth's carefully planned installation came to life just like it was supposed to. What a pleasant surprise. The Ice Storm knocked out power to the farm for almost 7 days. Had Sabertooth Electric not done their job right, we could have lost everything. As it is, we lost nothing. During that time of the outage, Steve monitored it from Bismarck, texted us to be sure to check the oil, told us how to monitor the fuel and performed a service call. In very rural areas, service you can get is not always service you can count on. We are almost 200 miles east of their offices so for them to make a service call after that storm took a real commitment. For that reason, we're happy to give them a 5 star review. They deserve it.
