Missouri Valley Family YMCA is a great place for exercise, offering various class options and a walking track. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. Families appreciate the Child Watch service, which allows parents to work out while their children are cared for by attentive staff. However, users have noted that the pool may occasionally close due to staffing issues, and there can be a lack of towels available. It's also advised to check monthly bank statements for potential overcharges, as refunds are not provided.
Came to the Y tonight and there was a sign saying that the locker room is being cleaned by opposite sex. My question is why can’t they clean the locker room either before they open or after they closed is it necessary that they need to clean it during business hours? Also, why does the steam room always smell like mold? Please come up with a solution for this. My son goes in the steam room and talks about how all the guys in there naked. Do they really have to be stretching in the steam room naked?

I travel all over for work and worked in Bismarck for years.
This YMCA is the most versatile, cleanly and organized I’ve been to. It offers a WIDE variety of options from strength to cardio and plyos.
Whatever Kara and her staff have done is remarkable. Feels like a new gym since I’ve been here. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a day pass or a membership.
As good as it gets.

Great place to get some exercise. A lot of great options for classes. Really like the walking track. Only complaint is there are days when there are no towels available. But the facility is clean and the staff friendly so that's what matters.
