I find it absolutely disgusting & disrespectful that this cemetery thought it was okay to remove sentimental, important items off of graves of loved ones. So sad to see these items people have left for years thrown aside to a discard pile with absolutely no ounce of sympathy for these families. Idc what excuses this place comes up with for these actions, I would never lay anyone to rest here.
Shook is all I can say. I thought I was prepared to see the array of items people cherish in an attempt to find my own but there wasn't any preparing for finding people's memories this way. It reminded me of how they left people's personal belongings during the holocaust. And leaving American flags on the ground?
The recent actions of board members, stripping everything from all the headstones and literally trashing it all, is one of the most disrespectful things I have ever seen. This is strike three for me and my family. I would definitely be moving my daughter out of there if I were able. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful.
