A Huge Thank You to the Wonderful Folks in Belfield, ND
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to some truly kind people in Belfield who turned a stressful situation into a reminder of how good people can be.
Around 6 a.m. yesterday morning, in the rain and feeling a bit panicked after getting a flat tire just outside of town, I called one of the local gas stations—not knowing what else to do. Jennie answered the phone with a warm and calming voice, and she didn’t hesitate to help. She made a few calls and connected me with Andrew, who came out in the rain and mud, changed my tire, and then guided me safely back into town.
From there, I went to All Around Tire and Oil, where Troy (and his sweet pup, Brutos!) quickly found the leak, patched my tire, and had me back on the road in no time.
Their kindness, patience, and generosity lifted my spirits more than I can say. In a world that often feels fast and impersonal, the small-town care I experienced in Belfield was truly heartwarming. I’m so grateful—and I won’t forget it.
Thank you, Jennie, Andrew, Troy, and everyone else who helped. You represent the best of your town.

Called All Around Tire and Oil at 5:53pm to bring the truck in to replace a tire for a spare on the trailer. I was told that the shop mechanics left (even thought it says they are open until 6pm) and we can send a truck and it will be $75 service call fee. I said ok. The truck was located at the truck stop less than a mile from the shop. Around 6:10pm I am getting a call from a mechanic that because it's afterhours they need to charge for two hours and it will be $175. I said ok. They were done in 30 minutes. The mechanic called me and took a payment and on the receipt they charged 2 hours at $175 plus mount and dismount of $35. $385 for what was told to be $175. Nice cut for 30 minutes of work. Maybe someone else experience was different, but mine was unpleasant.

Nick was amazing! We were going fishing headed out from Dickinson when we realized a tire on the boat trailer was bald -we called and he said come on in and this was at 5:30pm on a Thursday—30 minutes before closing and it’s 102 degrees out too —so we pulled in and he got us back on the road in less than 20 minutes

Also while he was helping us He got a phone call from someone on the interstate with a flat tire and heard him say “it’s ok pull over on the side and I’ll come to you and we’ll fix it”
