East Wake Animal Hospital

I travel 1/2 hours to see this vet for my GSD. They always take good care of him and are easy to schedule with. Very reasonable with pricing, work hard to get him in when emergency visits are needed.

My family and I rescued a dog who had been surrendered last year. We chose East Wake Animal hospital as our vet for him and they have been nothing but amazing since. He is very scared going into appointments due to his history but they are always slow and ready to do things on his time. I appreciate all they have done for him!

Friendly but quick and efficient mainly. Handled both of our cats well. On the second appointment they administered my very squirmy cats rabies vaccine in under 4 minutes costing only $28.

East Wake Animal Hospital has been an essential part of my life for more than 11 years, caring for my cats from their earliest days all the way through their final moments. Throughout that entire time, the team consistently provided exceptional veterinary care paired with genuine compassion.

They were always thoughtful about how the cost of services could impact our decisions, offering clear explanations and helping us make the best choices for our pets without ever making us feel pressured. That level of honesty and consideration meant so much over the years.

Most importantly, when the time came to say goodbye to my beloved kitties, the staff showed incredible empathy and kindness. They treated my pets—and me—with such tenderness and respect that it made an unbearably difficult moment a little more bearable.

I’m deeply grateful for the care, professionalism, and heart they showed my cats for more than a decade. East Wake Animal Hospital is truly a place you can trust with the pets you love. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at East Wake Animal Hospital. From the moment we arrived, they acted quickly, compassionately, and with professionalism during an incredibly difficult situation.
Despite the outcome, the care Neil received was thorough and thoughtful. Every option was explained clearly, questions were answered with patience, and I never felt rushed or dismissed. When it became clear that the kindest decision was to let him go, they allowed him to pass peacefully and with dignity, and they were a tremendous comfort during those first moments of grief.
A special thank you to Cassie (I hope I’m spelling that correctly), the technician who went above and beyond with kindness and empathy. She was absolutely wonderful and even offered to take nose and paw prints for me — a gesture that meant more than she probably realized.
I am deeply grateful for the care, compassion, and respect shown to both my cat and me. I would trust this team with any of my animals without hesitation.

Had an emergency with our 5month old pomeranian thought she eat something and it was blocking her inside.. Its a new puppy plus we just moved here so everything is so new... we called amd spoke with the receptionist and she worked with us over the phone and went back and spoke with the Dr. Before we got there. They were upfront with the cost and did everything they could do with the money that we could afford but still gave us the best care as if we were a normal paying customer....WILL NOT GO ANYWERE ELES AND YOU SHOULDNT! hands down best experience an one day later an the little one is bouncing back! Thank you agin to the Dr. And staff 💯!!

The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful! They never fail to greet you with a smile.😊 They are also very caring and compassionate. I observed the day I was there how well they took care of a Great Dane who had test results that were not good. They helped him/her walk to the car and put him/her in. It was sad to see that, and I felt so sorry for the dog and the owner. I went out to the car to make sure she was okay and walked back in with her as she went to the register. I felt she needed someone else to know they understood and cared. No one should have to go through something like that alone. Prayers for her and her dog.🙏

The techs and Veterinarian were very attentive to the needs of my old pup. You can tell that they love animals. I arrived 15 minutes early for our appointment and was seen promptly. The facility was clean and well put together. I highly recommend East Wake animal hospital.
