Solid State just finished our kitchen facelift and we’re so happy with it!!! Darren came out to quote and brought samples. We had everything picked out and a quote within a day. He gave us good feedback to do around our window and I’m so glad we did!! We committed and were installed in 30 days. Mike was great at communicating and getting coordinated. Crescencio did an amazing job, true master of his work. Tile was beautifully laid, and he cleaned up his work as hoped. He left no mess behind, which is really important. We would hire again
After being ripped off by another “contractor”, Solid State was recommended to us. Darren and Mike are amazing! The previous “contractor” started on our master bathroom remodel, but he ended up taking our deposit and disappearing (not before incorrectly laying a shower pan and subfloor). Darren came out as soon as we called for a quote, and once we signed the contract, they arrived on the exact date stated, and were on time every day. Mike was our project manager and came by often to check on the various workers, and we could not have asked for a more personable and kind PM. Our son was born 4 months early, and subsequently spent 4 months in the NICU, so is therefore immunocompromised. Mike wore a mask each time he visited and made sure each person that came in our house did the same. Additionally, he helped us when we could not decide what would look “best”, and was extremely patient. He always kept us in the loop in regards to who was showing up when, and personally went behind each job to inspect it and clean up. We had several quotes (over 5), and we could not be happier with who we picked. We will soon need our kitchen and guest bath tiled, and will definitely be using Solid State again!
You can tell a lot about a company by it's people. Solid State Tile not only left us with a beautiful, high quality tile job at a reasonable price, but the entire process from start to finish was friendly and professional. They are family owned and you can tell they take pride in their craft. Everyone we worked with throughout the process (drywall, tile, etc...) showed up on time and communicated any changes as they came up. A crew like Darren and his team are hard to find these days!
