I stopped in for a visit today and really enjoyed the serenity especially with the live music. If it wasn’t so hot I would just laid in the grass to soak it all in. What a great find!

After I read about the Whirligig Park, had to go visit. It was maybe smaller than I expected, but much cooler than I had imagined. The slight wind helped the whirligigs along and that was nice to see. The park is also dog friendly, so I liked that too. It's fun to see how one man can bring so much joy to people by putting these creations together. Make sure you visit the museum/gift shop across the street, it's small but large hearted and the staff there was not only friendly, but helpful.

Stopped by (pit stop) on our drive from Charleston to Richmond . What a wonderful place . Larger than life moving, spinning, clacking, beautiful art. Every time you look at a piece you notice something different. Could have sat and admired for hours. Picnic tables and a grass area to play . Loved this place. Quirky - maybe not everyone’s vibe, but if you like unique places then totally worth the stop.
