“My son , whom is out of state, contracted them to take down a VERY large tree in Tarboro. That was 4 months ago. He never completed the job. Left the huge stump and wood chips. This is located in front of the home. For months have heard from him... I will get it done. I will get it done.... Excuses is all he gives. And against my advice , my son had paid him. Saying he really needed the money to pay his guys. My ,,#1 rule is... No $ up front and not paid until job is completed. So not only did he not finish the job. But He took advantage of my son's good will. Unfortunately my only recourse is to take him to small claims court. Actually thought the job was completed...as he told my son it was three weeks ago. I just went over and....Nope not done. And his response was, he will do it tomorrow. To him tomorrow never comes.
Still no response to make this right. He is a fast talker and doesn't follow up on his word. STILL waiting for him to remove the stump. I think if I report him to the IRS for the cash he was paid ....maybe ? he would complete the job. The yard is a mess!
So...... FINALLY after 5 months...the stump is ground, but left a big mess for us to fix/spread or remove the chips. Leo, thanks for making it right and I pray for you and your family.
