Go somewhere else for glasses. The lack of transparency cost us more than we would have liked. I went somewhere else and was surprised on how transparent other places are (cost of frames, what insurance would cover etc). Dr. Fogelman is great though.

My wife and I drove out to see Dr. Fogleman. We drove from Jacksonville and were fifteen minutes early for our appointment but unfortunately we were turned away at the door due to the No Weapons sign. My wife and I both have CHPs issued by our county here in NC. So being that we carry the sign denies our entry to Wilmington Optometry. We respect this office's choice to disallow them but this made it impossible to be seen.My wife called to let them know while we were in the parking lot that we couldn't enter because of the policy and were then told we would be charged a cancellation fee. I love this practice. Dr Fogleman is wonderful in both her expertise with my vision but also with chatting about life. Sometimes a doctor can gain a lot of information just by talking casually and she does. Office staff are also great. Happy I have found them.
