Do not use Dr. Tunis. I had cataract surgery by him in 2021. Within days of having my 2nd eye done my vision became blurry and I saw two of everything. I called his office, reported my symptoms and requested to see Dr Tunis. His assistant informed me that he did not follow up with his patients after surgery. She instructed me to see my regular eye doctor. I have seen my regular eye doctor multiple times since and I still have double vision. I've also since had to go to Duke to see a specialist due to the issues I continue to have. I had none of these issues prior to cataract surgery. I realize things can happen, but as a surgeon wouldn't you want to make sure your patient was ok? I'm 56 years old and was told today I will have to have another surgery to attempt to correct my vision. In the meantime I continue to see two of everything. The lack of caring by him and his office staff is just beyond belief.
Dr. Scott Tunis was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I could not recommend him enough. He talked me through every step, and what to expect. He made me feel comfortable. Truly couldn't have picked a better doctor to perform my procedure.
Went there and didn't get it right there were some issues with mistakes.so he agreed to put lenses in for free i just pay hospital bills.still can't see with out glasses and I called them and told them the issues I was having the lady told me to go see an eye dr.wth.so I did and she told me they are the wrong prescription lens.smh. Dr Tunis has a great personality and is very likable but his office drop the ball and no my eyes are worse then when I started.
