this place was recommended by a member of the local aircooled VW club. I brought my own pair of key blanks and had them cut in a matter of minutes for only $7. would definitely recommend them for those looking to get keys duplicated for vintage autos.
We had a broken lock on our sliding glass door that was very difficult to fix. A-1 was responsive and came out quickly to repair & replace the mechanism. They even had the necessary parts on their truck. The charges were extremely fair for labor & materials provided. A-1 is by far the best locksmith in Wilmington.
A few weeks ago, I stopped in to have my car's key fob battery changed. The dealership had supposedly done a battery test on it and wouldn't just replace the battery for me because it "tested fine." I was struggling with having to unlock my car via the key manually, which set off the alarm every morning and was really embarrassing. I called A-1 and they told me to come on over. Stopped by a few minutes later and the guy at the counter changed the key fob's battery within two minutes and the problem was solved! Really appreciate the friendly and fast service! Thanks again. :)
