Love going to this gym but the dark headed older woman at the front has had a terrible attitude every time I’ve been there, I’ve tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she’s just not having a good day that day but her attitude has always been very negative towards me since the first day I signed up. Everyone and everything else is 10/10.

Impossibly difficult to cancel membership. No contact #, website won't let login, and location hasn't sent email cancellation form after multiple requests.

Tried to join the Wilkesboro Planet Fitness. I called first to make sure that I was able to join using my PayPal card, because the membership is for work, and that's the card I have to use. I was told that it would be fine. I was also told that some members make their payments with their Cashapp debit card and they just wanted me to understand that if the money isn't there then I'd be stuck with late fees. That was no problem for me. So, I drove to the location after 2 days of clearing the road down the mountain I was on in Trade, Tennessee when Helene came through and finally finding a back road to get to Boone, North Carolina. When I got the Wilkesboro Planet Fitness I was told that they weren't able to take the payments on any card that has an expiration date. Well, the Cashapp cards they accept have an expiration date. I know, because I have one. Maybe she just didn't want someone joining her gym who looked like they had just been through a tropical storm. Way to go! I joined the Anytime Fitness in the same town. Never Planet Fitness.

No lie, I haven't been to a gym in like almost a decade and I'm so glad I came here to dip my toes back in as a guest. Katelyn was super kind and knowledgeable. I think once I'm ready to fully get back in I'll be going here because of the friendly atmosphere and the down to earth staff.

Currently recovering from a stroke and the staff here, especially Lilly and Heather have been very compassionate and patient with me. They have made me feel confident about this next part of my recovery process and I can’t say enough good things about them and this location!
