When looking for different venues in the mountains, I knew I wanted something private while still having the overview of the mountains. This venue was everything I wanted plus more! During our couple pictures- they had on-site staff to drive us to the top of the mountain to take personal shots overlooking the most perfect view. I will forever cherish all of the memories. The Barn on New River is the dream wedding venue!! Near the New River and with its beautiful pond, it incorporated water but it was nestled perfectly in a valley of the blue ridge mountains. All around the venue there are gorgeous mountain backdrops. More than that, they drive you up to the mountaintop summit for sunset pictures! The ceremony space was beautiful and spacious. We weren’t sure if the garden would still be in bloom since our wedding day was October 12th but it was perfect!! The hydrangeas around the venue are to die for. Our wedding day at the Barn on New River was a breathtaking and an unforgettable experience from start to finish. My (now) husband and I had always envisioned a microwedding in the mountains with our closest family and friends. Paula and Bethany made this dream a reality for us. The venue was so beautiful and everything that we could have ever imagined and more. As I am currently in PT school and my schedule is very hectic, I wanted the process of wedding planning to be as minimally stressful as possible. They did just that!
